Russia is negotiating with Turkey on the possibility of supplying geese, ducks and turkey, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture. The negotiations took place on December 7 between representatives of the Russian and Turkish departments.
“The parties noted that at the moment the certification of a number of Russian enterprises planning to supply livestock products (beef, lamb) to the Turkish market is at the final stage. The Turkish side also said that it is working on the issue of the procedure for accessing geese, duck and turkey meat and undertook to send all necessary information in the near future, noted in the report.
During the talks, Deputy Minister Yevgeny Gromyko also stated that it is necessary to cancel the obligatory certification of invoices for the delivery of certain types of Russian agricultural products in consular offices of Russia and Turkey.
