Leaders of Kazakhstan and Turkey Nursultan Nazarbayev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan held talks on the forthcoming summit dedicated to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). This information was shared by Mr. Nazarbayev’s press-secretary.
The presidents discussed the details of the summit organization scheduled for December 13, 2017, as well as the benefits that bilateral cooperation can bring them. Turkey was the initiator of the choice of the place for the event, and Turkey offered Istanbul was as an option. During the summit, the issue with the transfer Israel capital from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem is going to be discussed, since the Arab World negatively reacted on this issue.
