The final registration of the deal on the supply of S-400 surface-to-air missile systems to Turkey will happen this week. This was reported by Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan following talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Ankara.

I want to talk about the S-400. Our respective bodies will do the necessary work and within this week will complete this work, Erdogan said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, in turn, noted good prospects for cooperation in the military-technical sphere and announced the achievement of agreements on granting credit to the Turkish side.

We see significant prospects for expanding cooperation in the military-technical sphere. During today’s work, we finally agreed on a loan agreement, which I hope will be signed in the very near future, Putin said.

The head of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation Anton Siluanov said that the funds will be transferred in the near future.

An agreement on the provision of S-400 complexes to Turkey for more than $ 2 billion was concluded on September 12, 2017, then Erdogan said that the deposit has already been paid.
